River Green resident Melissa Hands and her family are fighting back against heart disease.  Her 7 year old son, Trevor, was diagnosed with a heart murmur and congenital heart defect when he was 6 weeks old.  For the past 4 years, the Hands have been participating in the American Cobb Heart Walk.  Hear his story (recorded last year by the American Heart Association).

The Hands would welcome any neighbor who is interested in participating in Team Trevor to join them in the Cobb Heart walk.  The walk is scheduled for October 31 at 9:00 am in Marietta Square.  Your participation includes fun, snacks, a t-shirt, meeting new friends, and exercise.  And you can even walk in your Halloween costume this year!  Business sponsors and advertising opportunities are available and welcome, too.  All of the money raised by Team Trevor will go to kids with special hearts like Trevor.
