What Is radKIDS? radKIDS Strikes Back Against the ABC’S of Child Victimization: All radKIDS® know three important rules. The radKIDS rules are: While there is some initial “classroom” discussion on safety topics, it is reinforced with fun drills and hands-on activities to reinforce and “show” the kids what to do rather than just “tell” them. Then we move on the kids’ favorite part . . . actual physical tactics they can use to get away. Not only do the kids graduate from the course with the physical skills, but their fear is replaced with empowerment. After all, the number one rule of a radKID is: “No one has the right to hurt me, because I’m special.” With THAT in mind, a radKID has the self-realization of personal power to stand up for themselves.
radKIDS is the National Leader in children's safety education and provides the only holistic, practical and realistic life skills safety program available for children and parents today. radKIDS teaches children individually in an activity based hands-on training classroom, which means every child participates in all activities.
radKIDS provides our children with the instinctual options they need to recognize, avoid and, if necessary, respond to potential danger in their world today. When a child is approached or grabbed, the response needs to be immediate, instinctual and absolute. This instinctual response can be "taught" and enhanced through individual demonstration, training and practice. radKIDS is dedicated to providing communities and families the tools they need to teach and empower your children with realistic options in their own personal safety.
